Summary: Effectively market, manage inventory, and maintain quality assurance on all DDGS production at the assigned ethanol plant. Analyze market conditions in order to maximize return and control costs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain relationships with local producers, customers and internal staff.
- Market all daily DDGS production.
- Data entry / review all DDGS contracts and settlements for completeness and accuracy. Assist accounting department to resolve problems.
- Maintain and ensure completion of daily tracking of inventories, shipments, truck logistics and customer schedules.
- Daily communication with supervisor and plant manager.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain accounts receivables and collect payment on all DDGS shipments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience in DDGS or grain industry preferred.
- Farming /cattle feeding background preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Physical demands include but are not limited to: ability to climb ladders, bend, twist and reach, crouching or standing for long periods of time. May also include frequent sitting, computer use and telephone use.
- Noise level at field location may be quiet to very loud and use of PPE will be required.
