Additive Lab Technician

Job Summary:

Our client in Georgetown, KY is looking for an Additive Lab Technician. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

  • Our Clients Additive Manufacturing Department is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Additive Manufacturing Machine Technician.
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to operate and maintain additive manufacturing machines, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output.
  • Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the Additive Manufacturing Department's objective to deliver innovative solutions and maintain operational excellence.
  • Operate and maintain additive manufacturing machines, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Set up, load, and start builds while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Safely remove and unload finished builds, preparing for subsequent production.
  • Perform post-processing and Finishing tasks on completed builds.
  • Document and update production logs and service records.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

Basics:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably including experience in Industrial additive manufacturing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Intermediate reading and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Experience with data management and documentation.
  • Cad Experience with 3D design.
  • Additive software experience.
