POSITION PURPOSE
Jumpstart is a program designed to support healthcare students in their last semester of post-secondary education. Students apply for and are offered positions post-graduation to qualify for Jumpstart. They receive a monthly stipend for a set period in exchange for a commitment to work at MercyOne post-graduation. The stipend amount, maximum number of stipend payments and commitment requirements vary by position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Candidates in the Jumpstart program is not required to work during stipend period- this is financial support only during last semester of school.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be in the final semester of school in eligible position.
Must pass boards within 6 months of graduation.
Must sign the Program Agreement and return before any payments are processed.
Candidates must work for at least 18 months post licensure
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
