UKI Tax Senior Resource Lead (SRL) L4

The Senior Resource Lead oversees delivery of the resourcing service to the Tax Service Line whilst business partnering with leadership to proactively challenge business decisions, bringing insight on risks and opportunities in resourcing.

 

 

Your key responsibilities:

Productivity reporting and analysis, including:

  • Provide key insights and recommendations on productivity to the Service Line COO and Operations Director, proactively identifying productivity risks, issues and opportunities
  • Owning the high-level activity forecasting model to inform better business decisions
  • Partnering with Operations to drive effective management of sub-service line productivity performance
  • Business partnering with Sub-service Line leaders and Operations to challenge business decisions and drive effective management of sub-service line productivity performance (e.g. productivity levels, recruitment and location strategy, delivery models)
  • Drive leadership discussions on trends, interventions, and actions to improve results.
  • Lead the Tax Resourcing Central Reporting Team; continually review and developing Sub Service Line resource reporting that is actionable, effective and efficient

 

Employee experience management, including:

  • Lead and plan the roll out of ProFinda in FY27 for UKI Tax, aligned to the UKI Super Region agreed strategy. This is a business led global technology transformation that will drive our business to be truly skills led, supporting our growth strategy
  • Support the Service Line DE&I strategy by bringing data insight in equitability of utilisation, to support better resourcing decisions.
  • Support bespoke projects that influence the Sub-service line engagement teams to deliver a valued employee experience  

 

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Owning Headcount management across the Service Line, including the monthly recruitment approval process and appropriately challenging external recruitment as a default, with alternative effective delivery options

 

  • Partnering with Talent and Operations Director’s to deliver and review long term strategic workforce planning. Engaging with Service Line and Sub-Service line leadership to understand their current and future businesses, to deliver an effective future workforce, leveraged by AI

 

Creation of an exceptional team

  • Build a high-performing and engaged team with the commercial acumen to collaborate with Partners and other leaders. An initial priority will be to structure a GCR Core London Resourcing team, partnering with business leaders and the GCR Operations senior manager to define and successfully embed the service
  • Drive greater partnering with the Operations team to deliver greater service value
  • Lead on initiatives to drive continual improvement of the Resourcing function.
  • Effective management of Resource Managers and accountable to the UKI Head of Resourcing and UKI Tax Service Line Operations Director
