Job Summary

Junior Instructors are responsible for assisting Senior Instructors with the education of children enrolled in Group Lessons.  They must have excellent communication skills and display a genuine desire to help our guests of all ages learn about snow sports.

Must be at least 16.

Required

The ability to ski and/or snowboard at a beginning level or above

Preferred

Comfortable working with children and talking with parents to discuss progress of the child(ren) and suggestions which would continue to show improvement

Typical Schedule

Days:

Varies, including weekend, holidays and days public school is closed

Hours:

Varies 

Core Responsibilities

•   Assist a Senior Instructor in organizing, education and keeping all children safe
•   Assist with set up and take down of any terrain props are used for the day
•   Assist in the Rental Department with fitting boots and helmets when not needed during lesson times
•   Learn to set rental ski bindings (ages 16-17 only)
•   Other duties as assigned by management

This position continues through our winter season only, mid-November through mid-March.
