We are looking for motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our Chemical Distribution team!

You will be responsible for building a trusted relationship with accounts; engaging them and developing value through a diverse portfolio of products and services.   

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Improve Univar’s position within each account with in-depth selling at all levels within the account.
  • Prospect for new business in each account by conducting discovery sales calls to actively grow the size of the account portfolio.
  • Deliver on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer.
  • Utilize your CRM tools to prioritize, plan, and engage all accounts.   
  • Maintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline while documenting calls and critical information collected through account engagement.
  • Set pricing and service levels, as well as maintain and coordinate customer quotations or provide necessary information to allow local operations to do so.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, both personal and of your colleagues.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • As a sales position, the job requires a dedicated high achiever with a desire to succeed in a competitive marketplace and fast-paced environment
  • Motivated, energetic self-starter
  • Strong negotiation skills with a record of favorable outcomes that are mutually advantageous to Company, suppliers and customers
  • Sound judgment and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and develop alternative solutions
  • Ability to gain customer commitments and shorten the sales cycle
  • Customer-focused with ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written communication skills with ability to prepare clear, concise business proposals
