General Summary: As Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Oncology, you will:
- Serves as an advanced pharmacist practitioner engaged in providing pharmaceutical care
- Regularly monitors patient-specific therapies and collaborates with other health care team members.
- Participates in quality-assurance activities, represents department on hospital-wide committees, and serves as a resource for other health care practitioners.
- Ensure safe and accurate dosing, preparation and handling of chemotherapy
- Actively participates as a preceptor for the residency program and for students, when appropriate
- Primarily serves as the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, however, is available to help Central Pharmacy functions if needed
- This position reports directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Manager
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from accredited school; PharmD preferred.
- PGY-1 from an ASHP-accredited program is required
- PGY-2 from an ASHP-accredited program preferred and/or 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience
- Current Maryland Pharmacist license required.
Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Rotating shifts including weekends & holidays.
Salary Range: Minimum 56.57/hour - Maximum 93.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
