Job Description
The The Enterprise Operations Manager for Seasonal Promotions is responsible for developing and executing the enterprise-wide operational plan that supports critical seasonal campaigns (such as, but not limited to, Black Friday in July, Back to School, and Holiday). This role focuses on understanding key promotional strategies and translating them into actionable plans for operational partners across the enterprise, ensuring dependencies are identified and resolved.
This leader oversees the execution of essential workstreams to support enterprise initiatives and project plans that contribute to successful campaign outcomes. They manage multiple workstreams and timelines across various teams to deliver the capabilities needed for seamless go-to-market execution.
The Enterprise Operations Manager leads a broad cross-functional team representing key operational functions across the enterprise. They are responsible for managing and supporting projects and programs that align with business strategies, while maintaining strong relationships, meeting timelines, staying within budget, and managing scope and resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Leads cross-functional teams during planning and execution phases to cascade critical information, build tactical operational plans, facilitate creative problem-solving conversations, escalate feedback, ensure optimal efficiency, obtain cross-functional alignment, and deliver flawless execution.
- Ensures critical offers for elevated sales events are consistently highlighted both online and in-store.
- Collaborates with the Promo Process Operations team to establish timelines and processes, and to obtain cross-functional alignment for planning seasonal campaigns.
- Engages with senior leadership to provide project inputs, recommendations, opportunities, and status updates to enable informed decision-making.
- Designs, manages, and optimizes cross-functional communication processes by leveraging technology to drive efficiency, ensuring cohesive content delivery, and aligning timing with business needs – all to support the clear and accessible distribution of strategic promotional planning materials and tactical details across teams.
- Partners closely with Promo/Brand Marketing, Pricing, Retail Operations, and Ecommerce teams to gain a deep understanding of the strategy and build the operational capabilities required for execution.
- Influences strategy through proactive assessments of operational feasibility and continues to support initiatives through the execution phase.
- Identifies execution gaps and develops short-term solutions while establishing predictable and repeatable long-term processes
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of planning or project management
- 2+ years of Process development and refinement
- 2+ years of Direct people management and/or managing partner and vendor relationships
- 2+ years of managing project financials and resource allocations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Agile development processes
- Knowledge of Six Sigma process development

- This role is hybrid, which means you must be located within a drivable distance to our Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, MN. You may be asked to come into the office up to 3 days per week.
