• Analyze the company standards and policies through the orientation process, meet, and greet.
• Understand how different events work by shadowing corporate, non-profit, and social events.
• Attend BEO meetings, learn and apply their details, and analyze the BEO wall that is used for guidance before, after, and during events.
• Join in on-site visits and tastings to see how the process works when clients are looking to book a property.
• Understand how change logs operate and evaluate the changes that need to be made to BEOs
• Analyses how logbooks operate after an event is complete with a detailed evaluation of how the event was executed.
• Demonstrate how the POS Opera System works for the banquet events department.
• Properly set up a table for a fine dining event.
• Understand the scheduling process and how it operates for the departments.
• Analyze an event's execution from start to finish.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pursuing a degree in Hospitality or Event Management is highly preferred.
• Previous related experience is a plus
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
