ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Excellence (BE) team within New Generation Systems (NGS) is responsible for driving strategic initiatives in quality, process, and system improvement, aligning with Mitsubishi Power’s long-term vision and operational priorities.
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead key strategic projects focused on enhancing business processes, systems, data, and reporting across NGS.
The Project Manager will collaborate with business and IT partners to deliver improvement initiatives on time and within scope, while promoting a connected, data-driven, and efficient organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead internal cross-functional projects focused on people, process, and system improvements.

Manage multiple projects from start to finish, including business case development, project scope, scheduling, capacity planning, and execution.

Collaborate with NGS departments to understand business needs, priorities, and challenges.

Partner with IT to design and implement business process and technology solutions aligned with NGS strategy.

Facilitate workshops, gather and document business requirements, process flows, and user stories.

Translate requirements into clear functional specifications and improvement proposals.

Lead and mentor project team members, ensuring business and IT alignment and project success.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, business process improvement, or IT system implementation.

Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects and stakeholder engagement.

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Skilled in process mapping, change management, and workshop facilitation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Prosci are a plus.

Ability to travel up to 20%.
