JSM & Associates/JSM Airport Services is seeking a highly motivated Inventory Control Manager to join our growing team. The Inventory Control Manager oversees the company’s spare parts inventory program and provides coaching and directions to Parts Coordinators at company airport sites. The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities related to the company’s inventory and spare parts management across multiple airport sites. This position ensures that materials, supplies, and components are accurately received, recorded, and maintained to support operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance with customer contracts. The Manager will lead a team of inventory professionals, keep accurate records, optimize inventory processes, and promote safety and quality standards across all sites.

Compensation:
Annual Compensation: Starting at $60,000.00 (Dependent on Experience)
Work Hours:
The normal work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; however, occasional changes in the work schedule may occur, based on operational needs at any of our locations
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all inventory control functions, including the receipt, recording, distribution, and replenishment of stock.
- Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods meeting order specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inventory documentation, including quantity, quality, and condition of goods.
- Oversee spare parts and materials programs across multiple airport sites to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
- Review service levels regularly, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and manage aging or excess stock.
- Forecast inventory needs and prepare purchasing plans to ensure continuous support of operational requirements.
- Establish and maintain operational standards, policies, and procedures for all inventory staff.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance oversight for Parts Coordinators and inventory staff.
- Ensure that safety, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met in all storage and handling activities.
- Coordinate periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Encourage and coordinate programs essential to operations such as training, housekeeping, safety, and cost control.
- Maintain staffing requirements and assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between parts warehouse, maintenance personnel, and administrative teams.
- Prepare and submit accurate inventory control and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Respond to customer or internal inquiries regarding inventory, products, or service issues
- Safety and compliance training as required.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with parts inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, forecasting, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and coordinate remote teams.
- Customer-service orientation and ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Physical Requirements: Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must have normal vision capabilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Ability to travel by air or ground within the United States (main cabin or economy class).
