What you’ll be doing...
You are the internal advocate for our business customers. Your role is to build strong customer relationships that drive growth for Verizon while advocating for the customers’ needs through collaboration with our internal teams. You’ll drive online tool enablement and adoption, proactively develop strategies and solutions for complex challenges based on account analysis, maintain ongoing service improvements for accounts as well as de-escalate concerns and issues. All this requires excellent customer service skills, time management, strong positioning & negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong internal partnerships; including sales, information technology teams, contracts and finance to find mutually beneficial solutions.* Analyzing data gathered and developing solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.

* Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used.
* Analyzing information to develop appropriate solutions.
* Planning, studying of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
*Providing Consultation and Advice to Others.*Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.
Where you’ll be working…
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. You must also be located within a 90-minute commute of the BGCO locations specified on this job posting.

The BGCO is seeking a highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented individual to provide advanced support to the success of the Federal Account management team. Your expertise lies in managing and interpreting complex datasets, and your ability to convey this information clearly makes it accessible and valuable to others. You are a self-driven professional adept at managing dynamic situations, balancing multiple high-priority projects, and maintaining exceptional accuracy. We value your proactive approach to identifying and sharing ideas for process and operational improvement.You’ll need to have:
- Experience analyzing data to make recommendations that yield a positive impact
- Experience formatting raw data formulas, indexing and pivot tables and creating graphs and presentations.
- Experience in forecasting, tracking, and reporting key financial, budgeting, and sales metrics.
- Project Management Experience.
- Cross-functional project management skills involving process improvement initiatives.
- Project management experience in the areas of product launches, system changes and performance improvement.
- Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management in the areas of product launches, system changes and performance improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and also as a team player
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Experience working with Federal Customers as a Global Enterprise Advisor
- Experience auditing Federal/ DOD customers to ensure contract compliance
- Working knowledge of Federal contracting requirements
- Negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Current BGCO experience working with Public Sector customers.
- Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with four or more years of work experience in the BGCO
- Experience working with VZW Billing Systems and BGCO tools, including: ACSS, WFM, VIP, BI&R, My Business/ MBA, SFDC.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the Maryland location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $60,000.00 - $98,000.00.
