Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization through effective cleaning and maintenance practices.
This role has potential for growth into a full time resident caretaker / building manager.

What Will You Do?
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, hallways rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues
- Ensure janitorial materials clean, orderly, and in stock
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns to management promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties
- Power washing and snow removal on building envelop
- Go beyond routine tasks regularly
- Document events and damages
- Perform minor repairs
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving equipment as necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact with tenants and management

Salary Range:
$21-23/hour
