The current team cannot do the job not only due to the scope of the current responsibilities of the social media team, but foremostly since require different expertise, KPIs, and daily workflows. While Social Media team oversees brand-owned social channels (content calendars, copy, visuals, posting schedules, community management, analytics), Influencer lead focuses on external partnerships — finding the right creators, negotiating contracts, handling payments, managing deliverables, and maintaining long-term relationships. Skills -wise there is a gap as well: Influencer lead need strong negotiation skills, contract management, talent relations, and campaign execution skills.
