Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates to join our Maintenance Department, in our Marion, Ohio manufacturing facility.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

 

This job performs difficult maintenance tasks that typically require excellent skills and knowledge in areas such as welding, electrical wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, construction, plumbing and machining.

 

It is expected that anyone in this job will complete all training required for an Ohio certified Journeyman Card within the first 4 years in the job.

 

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

 

All tools and equipment under lower-grade maintenance jobs and more specialized tools.  Including, but not limited to:   Hand tools like pliers, screwdriver, hammer, saw, wrench, paint tools, brooms, shovels, vacuums, caulk guns, sockets, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, squares, etc...  Power tools like, Arc welder, MIG welder, electrical tester/multi-meter, conduit bender, power saw, power drill, cutting torch, sheet metal break, drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, milling machines, etc…  Powered equipment like man-lifts, boom-lifts, and forklifts.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

This job requires a person to be able to stand, reach, lift, walk, bend, twist, see, and hear.  Heavy lifting will sometimes be required.  The ability to work in small spaces, high locations, hot and/or dirty locations will also sometimes be required.

 

MATERIALS

 

All materials under lower-grade maintenance jobs and more specialized materials.   Including, but not limited to:    Screws, bolts, lumber, concrete, brick, metal parts, light bulbs, filters, paint, oil, grease, AC and DC wiring materials, conduit, pneumatic hose and fittings, hydraulic hose and fittings, belts, chains, conveyors, steel beams and angle, piping, welding and cutting wire and gases, plumbing fixtures, electric motors, fans, generators, air compressors, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, etc…
