Dr. Delphinium is looking for a friendly, creative, and dependable Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Dallas! Our sales associates are the heart of the store — greeting every guest, guiding them through floral and gift selections, and helping turn everyday purchases into meaningful moments.

This role goes beyond ringing up sales — you’ll build long-term customer relationships, assist in creative merchandising projects, and support the changing layouts and displays that keep our retail space looking beautiful and fresh. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers with a warm, helpful attitude
• Guide guests through floral and gift selections with confidence and care
• Build relationships with customers and follow up to ensure satisfaction
• Educate guests about flowers, plants, and product care
• Create and wrap flower arrangements in-store
• Enter orders accurately in POS system and gather customer information
• Assist with merchandising, product rotation, and store resets
• Keep retail displays clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Monitor product quality and remove expired items as needed
• Open and close the register; handle cash and credit card transactions
• Support phone orders and customer inquiries as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information
• Follow all company policies and maintain a professional appearance

Requirements

• Strong communication and listening skills
• Self-motivated, energetic, and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stay calm and tactful during difficult customer interactions
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Driven by creativity, with an appreciation for beauty and detail
• Minimum 2 years of retail customer service experience
• Gardening or “love of flowers” highly preferred
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Must pass a drug test and background check
