The community you’ll be caring for:
Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando. Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America.  AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year

Job Summary:

Develops and implements health and wellness programs tailored to community needs. Organizes and promotes community events such as health fairs, screenings, and educational workshops. Collaborates with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance program reach and effectiveness. Evaluates program outcomes and community impact to ensure goals are met and identify areas for improvement. Other duties as assigned Facilitates positive relationships between the hospital and surrounding communities. Participates in fundraising efforts to support community programs and initiatives. Develops marketing and promotional materials to increase awareness and participation in community programs. Collaborates with Communication and Marketing teams

You Will Be Responsible For:

Responsible for facilitating and promoting positive relationships within and between the hospital and surrounding communities. This position focuses on community outreach and engagement to enhance the hospital's image and support its goals. Additionally, this role develops and implements health and wellness programs, educational initiatives, and community events. In addition, this position collaborates with various departments to ensure the success of outreach initiatives. Ensures effective promotion and execution of programs to benefit the community.

What Will You Need:

Education and Experience Required: 

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Experience in Events, Marketing, Hospitality and related field
• Associate (Preferred) 
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Bilingual with verbal communications (Preferred)
• Ability to positively promote Florida Hospital and its services 
• Excellent communication skills
• Significant knowledge of hospital services and individuals within FHNP who will support community activities
• Knowledge of FHNP medical staff and specialties 
• Knowledge of community leaders and organizations
