The Crown Is Yours

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience with our fast-paced Workforce Planning team, which empowers DraftKings to make data-driven staffing decisions that drive business growth and operational efficiency. As a Workforce Planning Intern, you will gain exposure to strategic headcount and compensation planning, workforce analytics, and optimization. You’ll collaborate closely with our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to support accurate forecasting and with HR partners to inform streamlined processes. What you’ll learn:
  • How workforce planning aligns with business strategy and decision-making.
  • Methods for analyzing workforce data and identifying key talent trends.
  • Hands-on experience with headcount reporting and financial forecasting.
  • How Finance and HR teams collaborate to achieve organizational goals.
  • Best practices for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, data-driven manner.
What you’ll do:
  • Analyze headcount, hiring, and compensation data to support planning cycles.
  • Assist in building and maintaining workforce reports and forecasts that highlight trends and insights.
  • Conduct research on workforce planning best practices and benchmark against industry peers.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare presentation materials and executive summaries.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance organizational efficiency and workforce insights.
What you’ll bring:
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about workforce strategy and planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (Python is a plus).
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work accurately with large datasets and maintain attention to detail.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is 16.00 USD - 20.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
