Job Overview:

The Logistics Floor Lead oversees daily warehouse operations, supporting team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role acts as the primary on-floor leader during 2nd shift, coordinating workflow, communicating goals, and maintaining smooth operations between departments and leadership.

Shift & Pay Details:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM. Pay: $20-$22/hr.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support 2nd shift team members in daily warehouse tasks including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings to communicate daily goals, updates, and process changes.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and company standards.
• Monitor performance, quality, and accuracy across all work areas.
• Assign and balance workloads based on staffing levels and priorities.
• Provide training and guidance on equipment operation, procedures, and safety.
• Identify and help resolve workflow or inventory issues, escalating to the Team Lead when necessary.
• Support and promote quality control initiatives and ensure accurate documentation.
• Perform hands-on tasks when needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with 1+ year in a lead or coordinator role preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team independently during 2nd shift and communicate effectively with other departments.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
