The opportunity
In this role, you ensure that our knowledge management standards are upheld and carry out the domain’s knowledge plan, bringing community, content, and culture activities to life in line with EY’s guidelines. You’ll also support transformation, innovation, and service excellence initiatives, helping to shape and streamline consistent knowledge management methods and tools.
Your key responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of moderate projects, including new technology and process deployments, as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
- You'll create and develop project or program scopes and schedules, planning and assigning resources to tasks and deliverables as needed. You may also participate in developing and managing the budget.
- You'll develop and apply your knowledge of resources, communication, and cost management to your projects and programs.
- By analyzing workflow operations, you'll identify well-thought-out suggestions for improvement.
- You'll facilitate solutions across projects and programs, which may include identifying technology improvements and working to establish efficient processes across multiple groups.
- You'll understand and support project and program measurements, including the ability to conduct effective process analysis, report quality results, and collaborate with operations to drive improvements.
- You'll explain complex issues and work to establish consensus, communicating issues and status reports to your supervisor and stakeholders.
- You'll provide input into the allocation of resources to meet changing project and program needs.
- Additionally, you'll develop procedures and coordinate activities within your project or program team, which may include vendor management and working directly with both internal and external suppliers.
- Finally, you'll act as a peer advisor or mentor to other team members.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7+ years of progressive work experience
- Developing knowledge of change management principles
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills to grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems and issues
- Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
To qualify you must have
- In-depth experience and knowledge of project management practices and tools
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to assert own ideas and influence others to gain support and commitment for shared projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with key knowledge management concepts, tools and techniques (e.g. community facilitation, after action reviews) and or comparable experience
- Professional service industry experience or client-serving experience

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $77,800 to $145,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $93,300 to $165,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
