HR Business Partner
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to shape and deliver people strategies that drive business performance and bridging HR and business people enablement. Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll work closely with business line leaders to embed best practice, coach on people matters, and strengthen organisational capability across our professional services business.
This is a strategic role requiring a commercial influencer who can challenge thinking, coach senior leaders, and translate business strategy into actionable people plans whilst balancing day-to-day operational needs. You'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, using a collaborative style, commercial acumen and high emotional intelligence all underpinned by data and analytics to support your recommendations and measure impact.
What You'll Do
Strategic Partnership & Business Collaboration
- Partner with business line leaders and the Head of HR deliver our people strategy aligned with business objectives
- Act as trusted advisor and coach to business line heads on people practices and leadership effectiveness
- Lead organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives across the business lines
- Embed HR frameworks appropriate for a professional services environment
- Workforce planning and resource allocation
- Use robust data and analytics to inform decisions, track business performance, and demonstrate the impact of people initiatives
- Embed and support a high performance culture
- Build mentoring programmes
Reward & Strategic Projects
- Monitor business line market trends for recruitment, retention, and rewards, ensuring competitive and effective strategies
- Lead key people projects including job evaluation, organisational development, and policy implementation within your business lines
- Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure seamless delivery of HR programmes and initiatives
Talent & Development
- Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development across business lines
- Conduct skills gap analysis and identify needs and suggest training and development opportunities that build capability
- Lead initiatives on talent frameworks, career pathways, and high-potential identification within your business lines in conjunction with
- Ensure robust succession frameworks support business growth and resilience
What We're Looking For
Experience & Expertise:
- Proven track record in a senior HRBP or strategic HR role, ideally within professional services or knowledge-intensive environments
- Experience partnering with and coaching senior leaders, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Background in organisational development, change management, talent planning, and workforce strategy
- Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging HR data and metrics

- High emotional intelligence with exceptional communication skills
- Commercial acumen and deep understanding of business drivers
