Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/ Objectives
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant and facility equipment.
Essential Functions

- Routinely troubleshoot and repair all plant and facility equipment
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance
- Maintain parts and tools inventory
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
- Responsible for the installation of new equipment
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Responsible for personal compliance of all OSHA and Bulldog Hose rules and regulations
- Completes entries in the ERP
- Follows the Bulldog Hose Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, oil and grease. The team member is occasionally exposed to vibration. The team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work from a variety of different angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, crouching, and crawling all day. The team member is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The team member is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The team member must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are:
- First shift 7:00 am to 3:30 40 hours per week
- Second shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
- Third shift 11:00pm to 7:30am
Opportunities to work extended hours and on weekend, work may be optional or required as job duties demand.
Travel
No travel is regularly expected for this position. Team member may be assigned to go out on a service call to a customer’s premises.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Industry experience
