You will build fundamental components that empower engineers and customers to develop software with step function-inducing capabilities. Your work will transform how solutions are built by Rippling and our customers..
What You Will Do
- Help create the AI strategy for platform
- Lead mission critical projects to build and scale core platform capabilities
- Work closely with engineers across the organization to adopt these components to evolve existing products and bring new products to market
- Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole company
- Build and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problems
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Expertise in building complex distributed services with high availability and strict SLAs
- Experience building large-scale user-facing applications, APIs, and developer tools
- Preferred experience in our technology stack- Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, Kafka, Flink, AWS
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them
- A track record of influencing and enabling forward-thinking technology decisions across a wide organization
- Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision in written and verbal modes

Rippling highly values in-office collaboration. Employees living within 30 miles of an office are expected to work onsite three days a week with those living 30-49.9 miles away expected to be in the office one day a week. Employees living over 50 miles away are required to relocate within 30 miles of an office. To enhance team cohesiveness, new employees are asked to work onsite three days a week for their first six months.
