About the Role:
This position serves as an in-office float, working closely with physicians to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and prioritizes patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient care
- Perform phlebotomy and communicate test results
- Handle scheduling, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs
- Provide clear instructions and write orders
- Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff
- Support a positive image of the practice
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Prior medical experience required
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced setting
