NOW HIRING: Marine Boat Technician – Join Our Powersports Crew!

Location: Lake Havasu City

Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive Pay + Benefits + Team Discounts
Experience Level: Experienced

Do you love the water, engines, and everything powersports?

We're looking for a skilled, passionate, and hands-on Marine Boat Technician to join our high-energy team! At Anderson Powersports, we live for adventure—on the trails, on the road, and especially on the water. If you’re someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving mechanical puzzles, and getting boats in top shape for the season, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of marine vessels and engines (outboards, inboards, sterndrives)

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems with precision and confidence

  • Install accessories and upgrades—fish finders, radios, GPS systems, and more

  • Conduct water tests and ensure every boat leaves the shop running like a dream

  • Keep detailed service records and communicate clearly with service advisors & customers

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace

  • Stay up to date on the latest marine technologies, tools, and certifications

  • Complete Mercury and Yamaha warranty repairs and ensure proper documentation is submitted

  • Assist with the registration and verification process for warranty eligibility

  • Use OEM diagnostic software (Yamaha YDS, Mercury G3, CDS/MDST)

  • Follow service bulletins, recall procedures, and factory repair protocols

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with marine engines (Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, etc.) is a big plus

  • Mechanical or technical background (powersports, auto, marine, small engine repair)

  • Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to getting it right the first time

  • Positive attitude and team-player mentality

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with us

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an active shop environment

  • Certifications are great—but we value hands-on experience and passion just as much

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Be part of a fun, fast-paced environment where every day is different

  • Work on awesome boats, watercraft, and cutting-edge marine tech

  • Competitive pay, health benefits, and employee discounts on gear & parts

  • Ongoing training and development—grow your skills and your career

  • Join a team that loves what they do and supports each other like family

This is more than just a job—it’s a lifestyle.

If you're ready to turn wrenches, solve problems, and help get people back on the water where they belong, we want to hear from you!
