CMM Programmer & Operator

(Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing)


Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Overtime & Saturdays as needed

Requirement: Due to the nature of our work, U.S. citizenship or valid Permanent Resident status is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS software
  • Inspect parts and identify non-conformances based on engineering requirements
  • Verify results using mechanical inspection tools
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Uphold Precision Aerospace’s commitment to excellence in every part produced


What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card
  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating CMM and mechanical inspection equipment
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Skilled in using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and “do it right the first time” mindset
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, and typing
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.)
