Essential Functions:
- Working together with Supplier Quality Engineering and Supplier to determine what is the most useful method of problem prioritization/prevention and defining a system of tracking progress.
- Helping with department CI projects and efficiencies in the early stages of new model awarding.
- Revising and reworking a rating system to represent supplier metrics
Our team is in charge of quality from the sheet metal and casting suppliers, so knowledge of welding, riveting, gluing, and other joining methods would be helpful.
Other regular daily tasks:
- Visiting suppliers to help audit processes
- Going to production floor to gather data on current supplier issues
