PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Empire Pass Area Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing a safe environment for guests, members, and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit, manage, train, develop, and evaluate performance of maintenance department employees
Maintain property in an “as new” condition as directed by the board
Ensure weekly schedules provide quality coverage in adherence to budgetary guidelines
24-hr emergency coverage for the department
Oversee completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal checklists
Support department employees with technical problems, procedures, and obtaining parts
Maintain a working relationship with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of chemicals, supplies, tools, operating equipment, and common repair parts
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Thorough knowledge of a wide range of maintenance areas, including general repair work, basic construction, plumbing, refrigeration, pumps and motors, electrical components, HVAC, and painting and drywall
Experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees
Able to lift 40+ lbs.
Possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
Computer literate
