The Dental Assistant supports Dentists by preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining accurate dental records. This role ensures compliance with infection control standards, facility policies, and state regulations while promoting efficient clinic operations. The Dental Assistant will also provide patient education on oral hygiene and contribute to a safe and organized dental care environment.
How YOU can Make an Impact:
- Develop and process dental radiographs as per provider orders, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols.
 - Assist in monitoring and maintaining dental equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
 - Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
 - Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
 - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental area to support a safe, hygienic environment.
 - Order and maintain inventory of dental clinic supplies, ensuring availability and proper storage.
 - Manage dental laboratory slips and maintain accurate records in compliance with clinic protocols.
 - Schedule patient appointments, maintain dental charts, and record dental findings.
 
What we Ask of YOU:
- High School diploma or GED.
 - A certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting or 1-2 years of experience very helpful.
 - Active CPR/BLS certificate required prior to Start Date (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).
