Our Byesville, OH, USA plant is an integral part of our Beverage division, dedicated to processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other similar liquid ingredients. What You'll Do:

 

The Lead reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for training and assisting with production line and its staff. This position is charged with ensuring the production staff is trained in all aspects of the job including safety and quality.

 

Key Job Functions & Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in ensuring production needs are met and lines are running at optimum efficiency
  • Coach, mentor, assess, and assist production team members.
  • Act as communication link between team members and supervisor.
  • Manage relationships with internal support groups and with external resources.
  • Identify and eliminate safety hazards; monitor team member safety practices and adherence to policies.
  • Delegate to the team responsibility and resources needed to meet production goals (empower team members).
  • Communicate with employee’s Evaluate team member performance and progress, and communicate that performance and progress to the supervisor.
  • Advise team members on technical problem resolution.
  • Lead basic day to day problem solving efforts.
  • Perform relief duties and fill in for team members when needed.
  • Ensure all production paperwork is properly filled out by each team member.
  • Verify and enter codes.
  • Lead process improvement efforts.
  • All other duties as required

  • Minimum high school diploma required, AS preferred
  • Minimum 3 years production experience required.

The starting wage for this role is $23.62 (minimum) per hour. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
