As an Enterprise Fraud Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing our enterprise card-not-present (CNP) fraud framework. You’ll analyze both fraudulent and legitimate customer behaviors to ensure strategies balance fraud prevention with customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term integrity. This role combines deep data analysis with collaboration across technical and business teams to design, test, and refine fraud prevention approaches. Analysts also troubleshoot triage issues, partner with vendors, and guide operations teams on emerging threats and system changes.
Our team follows a hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday–Thursday, with remote flexibility Monday and Friday.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and tools to monitor fraud trends, customer behavior, and performance.
- Analyze fraud and good-customer behaviors to design and evaluate strategies that reduce fraud while protecting customer experience.
- Partner with technical teams to test and deploy risk solutions, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners on fraud performance, chargebacks, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with enterprise teams (Operations, Tech, Payments, Identity, Vendors) to strengthen fraud defenses.
- Educate operations teams on fraud methodologies, system changes, and emerging threats.
Basic qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in CNP fraud, eCommerce risk, or related fraud strategy roles.
- 2+ years of experience applying data mining, statistical analysis, or data visualization.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience balancing fraud mitigation efforts with customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and related systems (APIs, XML, FTP, fraud platforms).
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence strategy in fast-paced environments.
