The family-friendly terrain at Saskadena Six Ski Area sets the tone for a classic winter ski day in the mountains, with gentle terrain perfectly suited for beginners. Saskadena Six welcomes both skiers and snowboarders to its downhill slopes and a terrain park. There are 2 lifts servicing 28 trails ー 30% rated as beginner terrain, 40% as intermediate and 30% as advanced ー with the longest run spanning a distance of 5,280 feet. Rentals, repairs, lessons and a cozy base lodge are all available on-site.

Job Summary: 

As a Retail Shop Attendant, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. From assisting customers with their purchases to maintaining the retail shop display areas, your role will be pivotal in creating lasting memories for winter sports enthusiasts. 

Job Specifications: 

• Expected Pay Range: starting $16.00 per hour
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full time seasonal and part time seasonal positions available
    • Wednesday-Sunday, plus peak and holiday periods
    • 16-40 hours per week 

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly, personalized shopping experience.
• Engage with guests to build rapport, offer recommendations, and answer questions about merchandise.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including packaging purchased items.
• Restock and organize the sales floor throughout the day, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety and organization of the shop and storage areas.
• Receive, price, and process incoming inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day reconciliations and preparing the shop for the next business day. 

Job Requirements: 

• High school education or equivalent. 
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Sound knowledge base of ski/snowboard industry and equipment operation.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
