We are currently seeking an Associate Underwriter for our Surplus Lines division.   

The selected candidate will be involved with a variety of underwriting activities, which includes preparation of quotes and proposals, organizing and analyzing underwriting information, working closely with multiple underwriters, and cultivating strong working relationships with agency personnel, our Rating and Loss Control staff, and other departments.

This position can be located in our corporate office in Sarasota, FL, or our Mid-Atlantic office in Glen Allen, Virginia and is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days from home.

The salary range for this position is $24.80-$38.19 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
