What you'll do
As a Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining technical solutions that safeguard our systems and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure our platforms meet the highest security standards. Your work will directly contribute to the resilience and trustworthiness of our technology, enabling the business to innovate securely and confidently.
This position is an indivdual contributor role reporting to the Director, Platform Security.
Responsibility
Assist in developing and maintaining security tools and automation scripts to support secure infrastructure and application deployments
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
Support the implementation and management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, such as Terraform, to ensure secure and consistent cloud environments
Build and maintain data pipelines to support security reporting and analytics, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Monitor security alerts and assist in incident response activities, helping to investigate and resolve security issues
Contribute to the documentation of security processes, standards, and technical solutions to promote knowledge sharing across the team
Stay current with emerging security technologies and trends, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the organization’s security posture
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field
Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python, Java, Go, or Bash) through coursework, internships, or projects
Experience with fundamental security concepts, including secure coding practices and basic threat modeling
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development workflows
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform), or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) through academic projects or internships
Exposure to building or maintaining data pipelines for reporting or analytics
Knowledge of security automation, vulnerability management, or incident response processes
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $94,000.00 - $136,600.00 base salary
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $89,400.00 - $116,175.00 base salary
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $89,400.00 - $122,125.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
