Job Summary:

We are excited to add a Staff Accountant to our growing team. This role serves as a key contributor within the Corporate Accounting team, working to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, and journal entry preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal and partnering skills are essential, as we operate in a relationship-driven business.

Experience in accounting or financial analysis is required; prior exposure to the insurance brokerage or financial services industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Research and resolve variances during the reconciliation process.
  • Conduct monthly revenue and expense variance analysis.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and financial reports.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close of agency management systems.
  • Audit cash and bank account activity to ensure accurate postings.
  • Fulfill audit requests and support annual audit preparation.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances between Acrisure Partners.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Prior work with both income statement and balance sheet required.
  • Insurance industry experience (preferred).
  • Experience with general ledger systems (Workday preferred).
  • Familiarity with insurance management systems such as AMS360, Applied Epic, or TAM (highly desired).

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA track or certification (a plus, not required).
  • Experience in a multi-entity or intercompany environment.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
