Description
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear.
- Test mechanical to ensure proper functioning.
- Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, and hand tools, or power tools.
- Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Operate hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance.
- Inspect mechanical components to identify problems.
- Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
- Trouble shoot electrical controls and components, and repair as needed.
- Working in cold temperatures

• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematics ability required to perform job
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
