The Equipment Coordinator provides equipment inventory control, maintains adequate stock, monitors inventory levels and meets forecasting demands for the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institution and Critical Care Tower, including the Emergency Department. The Equipment Coordinator works closely with all the departments on distributing medical equipment as requested. This position will be responsible for receiving equipment distribution requests, filling the orders, track orders and manage and maintain adequate equipment stock. This position will be accountable for tracking and inventorying non-capital equipment. The coordinator will work closely with their Assistant Director, Manager and Inventory Control Analyst in ensuring building standards are implemented throughout the James campus. This position follows compliance with appropriate patient care and business practice areas, and equipment operations twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
