Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Description:
The Process Technician I applies scientific and technological principles to support continuous or periodic operations in the production of manufactured products. Responsibilities include designing and planning layouts for processes such as hardening, washing, laminating, etching, engraving, polishing, plating, and other material-processing operations. The role involves planning sequences of operations, specifying procedures for material preparation, and conducting tests and measurements throughout production to control variables such as temperature, density, specific gravity, pressure, and viscosity. The technician exercises judgment in balancing conflicting requirements, evaluating methods economically, and ensuring operator effectiveness and comfort.
What You’ll Do:
Follow established procedures and conduct routine tests throughout production
Assist in designing and planning process layouts
Identify basic solutions to routine problems; escalate complex issues
Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and ensure operator effectiveness
Work under close supervision while maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications:
AAS degree desired
0–3 years of relevant experience
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material-handling procedures
Attention to detail and effective communication within the team
Additional Information:
