Description

Booyah Advertising is seeking a full-time, experienced, and communicative Organic Strategist to lead and amplify the SEO (search engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) initiatives of our enterprise clients. In this role, you’ll oversee a range of Organic tactics within on-site, technical, and off-site. The Organic Strategist will collaborate closely with client teams, and internal media channels to ensure seamless implementation of integrated strategies. This position requires a sharp eye for identifying Organic opportunities (both SEO & GEO), a proven ability to drive results, and the confidence to articulate the long-term value of Organic initiatives. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and oversee Organic strategies that exceed client goals and KPIs. 
  • Maintain consistency across client strategy roadmaps and ensure they are clear, organized, and goal-driven. 
  • Manage and mentor Organic Managers and Coordinators, fostering talent development and performance excellence. 
  •  Participate in biweekly/monthly client calls to review performance, interpret data, and create actionable plans ensuring data accuracy and insightful analysis. 
  • Ensure proper QA of Looker dashboards and client-facing reports. 
  • Analyze performance trends, providing context and recommendations to clients. 
  • Build trust-based relationships with clients and vendors through open, honest communication and through expert consultation. 
  • Proactively address client challenges with solutions and recommendations. 
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and ensure all client deliverables are accurate and timely. 
  • Regularly test new tactics and encourage a 'test and learn' approach within the team. 
  • Oversee and execute a variety of optimization tasks, adjusting deliverables based on results. 
  • Delegate tasks appropriately, oversee project timelines, and ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Coach the team on engaging client calls and delivering insightful reporting. 
  • Manage client scope and ensure the team understands and adheres to SOW details. 
  • Identify and address scope creep, escalating to the Account Director when necessary. 
  • Provide QA for all client deliverables, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment and maintain high standards for self-QA. 
  • Promote team growth through training and knowledge-sharing opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to develop and present impactful Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). 
  • Tailor presentations for different audiences, from day-to-day contacts to executives. 
  • Collaborate with peers to address cross-channel opportunities and workflow improvements. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, test innovative strategies, and champion bold initiatives. 
  • Contribute to agency knowledge sharing by participating in trainings, roundtables, and presenting data-driven insights. 
  • Provide thought leadership by communicating POVs to clients, vendors, and industry peers. 
  • Inspire and lead the team while contributing to the long-term vision of the "Booyah Way." 

Qualifications


Required Experience 

  • 3+ years of client-facing Organic experience at an agency. 
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with on-site, technical, and off-site SEO for enterprise websites (1,000+ URLs). 
  • Proven success in training and mentoring teams on Organic tactics and client communication. 
  • Expertise in  developing strategies based on data analysis, execution, and optimization across search engines. 

Technical Proficiency 

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and tracking implementations. 
  • Proficiency in Organic tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush. 
  • Skilled in keyword research, technical, on-site, and off-site Organic optimizations. 
  • Understands the differences in optimizations across ecommerce, local, national, and international websites. 
  • Understands the changing landscape of the search environment due to the disruptions with AI 
  • Understands how to plan, execute, audit, and mitigate a new site launch or site merge. 
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Salary $80,000 – $87,500 

Salary range is based on seniority, merit, education, training, and experience.
