Cash Coordinator – Disbursements na Valero

Valero is looking for a Cash Coordinator – Disbursements to join the Treasury team at Valero Headquarters in San Antonio, TX.  The Cash Coordinator is responsible for processing payments for wire transfers, as well as managing returned wire transfers for Valero’s domestic and international operations

• Set up and processes ACH, SEPA, BACS, and tax credit transactions, along with handling returned items related to these credit transactions.

• Develop and maintain various Excel spreadsheets and record all cash-related transactions in SAP.

• Manage the daily Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) process in SAP for both Valero’s international and domestic businesses, and conducts daily reviews of customer and/or vendor bank updates.

• Gather daily company-wide cash inflows and outflows to assess cash borrowing and investment needs through the US and International Cash Worksheet(s).

• Reconcile cash flow data with Forecasting and Investing to confirm that funds have been received and payments have been made as scheduled.

• Identify wire transfer and ACH (NACHA, BACS, and SEPA) returns and amendments, conduct necessary research for corrections in the SAP Vendor Master, and facilitate the retransmission of electronic payments.

• Submit the daily input, approval and release of disbursements made via ACH, BACS, SEPA, check and wire transfer.

• Enter vendor bank wire transfer instructions and/or ACH, BACS, and SEPA bank details into SAP.

• Record wire and ACH interbank transfers processed through SAP, along with other manual cash transactions.

• Respond to requests from other departments regarding information on wire, ACH, BACS, and SEPA payments.

• Provide backup for the periodic setup and daily initiation of electronic payments for tax related ACH credits.

• Assist in posting and monitoring ACH Debit and Direct Debit transactions as needed.

• Maintain and process the daily SAP Electronic Bank Statement (EBS). The EBS process requires researching and resolving differences between bank records and SAP cash general ledger accounting entries as well as posting additional cash transactions as needed in SAP.

• Prepares monthly reports and analyzes the monthly bank service charges to aid in the month-end closing process. 

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
