Position Overview:

Participates in the designing, programming, development, testing, and implementation of interfaces, databases, applications, and web related projects as well as the analysis of end-user needs and development of software solutions. Aids in the design or customization software for clients with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency throughout Sutter Health and its affiliates. Also, aids in the development of "front-end" line-of-business and clinical applications and underlying "back-end" databases.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

• Associate's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Exchange, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Advanced knowledge of hypertext markup language (HTML), dynamic hypertext markup language (DHTML), and cascading style sheets (CSS).

• Advanced knowledge of structured query language (SQL).

• Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.

• Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.

• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.

• Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

• Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.

• Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.

Pay Range is $45.60 to $68.40 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. ​
