About the Department

The primary role of the Operations Business Partner (Data Analyst) is to analyze complex datasets, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making across various departments. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Position Duties

1. Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights to support business strategies.
4. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
5. Use statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze data and provide predictive insights.
6. Document processes, methodologies, and findings in a clear and organized manner.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis.
8. Administer access rights to various software applications and serve as superuser.
9. Serve as liaison to vendors and Toho IT department.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
4. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
