Role Summary
This is a Hybrid position based at our Main Office location in Gastonia, NC.
No Visa sponsorship is available for this position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legal and administrative support to Legal and Compliance Departments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, HR, Purchasing) on legal matters
- Support the drafting and execution of corporate resolutions (e.g., updating officers/directors, obtaining signatures, scanning, filing, and updating electronic records as needed)
- Manage annual state filings for US entities by compiling required information on entity structure, authorized signers, insurance policies, and miscellaneous information as required per state
- Manage business registration/deregistration in various states as needed -- complete required forms, obtain signatures and compile supporting documentation
- Assist with management of historical paper records such as minute books
- Obtaining signatures/notarizations, and submission of documents for legalization/apostille
- Manage service of process intake from registered agent
- Maintain litigation database, assist with issuing and tracking litigation holds, and monitor litigation deadlines
- Intake and tracking of new matters from internal clients; manage legal files
- Process law firm invoices, and prepare reports for Finance & Controlling
- Support Insurance Group in gathering information for insurance renewals
- Support tracking and reporting of Legal Department metrics and budget
- Support internal investigations as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
• 3+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or corporate law department
• Experience interacting with external counsel
Required Skills:
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, legal document management systems and SAP
Preferred:
• Paralegal Certificate
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments
