Position: Marketing Operations Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA

The Marketing Operations team orchestrates key logistical activities for the organization including contractor and agency management, resourcing and budgets.
Your role at Sephora:
As a Manager on the Marketing Operations team, you will function as a thought partner to the Director, Operations and Resourcing and play a critical role as the backbone of the Operations team . You will manage external staffing/agency partnerships that augment resourcing capabilities for marketing. You will drive department organization by maintaining critical business information related to Marketing campaigns ranging from internal and external assignments to complex financial data, as well as create operational efficiencies where appropriate, you will:
- Contractor Management: Lead the Marketing Contractor program and provide recommendations for optimizations. Manage relationships with staffing agencies and liaise with the contingent workforce team and internal partners to ensure successful and timely sourcing, onboarding and offboarding of contractors. Act as the Fieldglass systems expert for the department and troubleshoot problems for cross functional teams
- Resourcing Management: Collaborate with cross-functional Marketing teams to track resourcing assignments across all campaigns and manage communication with cross functional leads; governing the data entry process for the centralized Master Project List
- Agency Management: Lead the management of three high volume production agencies and one translations vendor. Onboard new partners, setting them up for success leading training and acting as the main point of contact for all questions and support. Maintain budget and project trackers, reviewing project quotes and partnering with internal team on agency project resourcing. Collaborate with Sourcing and agencies to execute quarterly and annual SOWs and RFPs to ensure compliance
- Budget Planning: Manage $5M budget across multiple IOs, including respreads, processing invoices, updating and forecasting tools. Create and manage all Purchase Orders on behalf of Marketing Operations, acting as the Coupa systems expert for the department. Support Marketing Operations in all forms of planning by forecasting team capacity, agency expenses and Creative freelance costs
- Documentation Governance: Maintain all process documents for Marketing Operations and continuously update documents as processes shift, simultaneously creating and maintaining dashboard in Smartsheet to house all department information. Build ad-hoc reports, dashboards and budgetary information trackers in Smartsheet for Marketing Operations as neededDemonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.
We’re excited about you if you have:
- •5+ years of experience in marketing operations, ideally in a marketing or creative team, with a solid understanding of marketing assets
- Strong Excel and Smartsheet skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards, reports). Experience with Fieldglass, Monday.com, Ironclad, or Zip is a plus
- Daily experience using MS Office and SharePoint
- Experience managing vendors, including creative and staffing agencies
- Familiarity with procurement processes in a corporate or agency setting
- Experience managing budgets and tracking financial metrics
- Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000.00 - $128,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
