The Vice President -- Corporate Finance provides strategic leadership and oversight of core corporate finance functions, including Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. This role drives modernization, governance, and enterprise-wide financial performance by implementing scalable systems, ensuring compliance, and delivering actionable insights that support executive decision-making and organizational resilience. The Vice President also plays a critical role in aligning financial operations with organizational goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and strengthening fiscal accountability across the enterprise.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight of end-to-end corporate finance operations--including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Corporate Accounting, and Treasury--by architecting and enforcing comprehensive policies, internal controls, and operational workflows. Ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting while driving enterprise-wide fiscal discipline and operational excellence.
- Spearhead transformative modernization initiatives across finance operations by leveraging automation, digital technologies, and process re-engineering. Deploy scalable platforms and analytical tools that enhance financial reporting, forecasting precision, and compliance agility, while cultivating cross-functional alignment and continuous innovation across Finance, Treasury, and enterprise stakeholders.
Own and lead core finance functions--including Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Accounting--with a strategic focus on financial governance, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. Define and monitor enterprise-level KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement robust frameworks that identify and address financial exposures. Champion transparency, ethical financial stewardship, and adaptive strategies that support long-term organizational resilience and cross-functional alignment. Ensure core functions of all corporate finance teams are executed in a timely manner, with accuracy and integrity.
Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting that translates complex data into clear, actionable insights. Support executive decision-making through scenario planning, performance tracking, and resource optimization. Deliver financial models and reports that guide strategy, improve forecasting, and reinforce accountability across the organization. Provide regular guidance and forecasting that enables administrative teams to meet monthly and annual plan targets.

Education and Experience:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Preferred Education:
MBA or Master's degree in related field
Minimum Experience:
10+ years of progressively responsible Finance and Accounting leadership experience including oversight of Corporate Accounting functions
Preferred Experience:
10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting leadership experience, including oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Accounting functions
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum
Strong command of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards; Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive) and Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end close processes
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage performance; Experience preparing audit schedules and supporting external audits
Preferred:
Familiarity with fund accounting, government contracts, and grant compliance
Advanced skills in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and KPI development
Experience in process improvement, automation, and digital enablement initiatives
Experience in a mission-driven or nonprofit organization
Certification and Licensure:
Minimum:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Preferred:
CFA, CGMA, or other advanced financial certifications
