Overview
BrightSpring is looking for a forward-thinking, independent Senior Project Manager who will work on BrightSpring’s IT Enterprise Systems Projects including vendor selection and implementation projects. This is a highly visible role in IT working under the guidance of the Vice President of Enterprise Services and Systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic business initiatives supporting IT Enterprise Systems
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans
- Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
- Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders regarding project updates, proposals and planning
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside operators – including business owners and third-party vendors
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed – escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
- Maintain weekly project status reports including progress on important milestones, next steps and risks/ issues
- Research and analyze complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of an organization
- Evaluate data and metrics to propose new strategies to improve project delivery and develop reports that portray and give external stakeholders visibility into the project landscape
- Work at multiple organizational levels, ranging from executives to the frontline operators, working across functional areas, and understanding the needs and requirements across the organization
- Ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties which may impede progress or compromise achievement scheduled milestones
- Work closely with assigned teams on process improvement and proactively engage with stakeholders to identify and monitor progress and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 10+ years of IT project management experience is required
- Six Sigma certification required
- PMP and/or change management certification preferred
- Advanced user of Microsoft office suite products
