Description

This position is responsible for providing a wide range of office management and support to the company, including completing a systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. (e.g., accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collections).

Key Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Reconcile credit card statements across all entities
• Assist with accruals and allocations 

            Fixed Assets, Pre-pay, Accrued Software Expense Schedule

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice review, vendor payments, and customer collections across all entities

            Accounts Receivable – Assist with monthly invoicing to ensure timely completion

• Prepare various financial reports and assist with variance analysis as needed
• Maintain and organize financial documentation and support audit preparation
• Prepare various financial reports and assist with variance analysis as needed
• Receive and distribute incoming mail
• Assist with Sales Tax across all entities
• Sales Tax reviews in internal software
• Review/Reconcile debt/loans to accounting system
• Monthly Inventory Reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Respond to routine accounting inquiries from staff and vendors
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities):

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field experience
• 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in multi-entity or multi-department environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Great Plains) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
