REPORTS TO: Chief Information Officer
SUPERVISES: Applications Team
GRADE: 18
SALARY RANGE: $92,700 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience
FLSA: Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the administration, performance, and oversight of the
bank’s enterprise applications, including its most critical transactional platforms and supporting databases. This
role combines operational leadership with hands-on technical expertise, while mentoring junior staff and
maintaining structured processes that meet regulatory and audit standards. The Director ensures applications are
documented, changes are tested and controlled, and compliance requirements are consistently met. The role also
plays a key part in keeping the CIO informed through proactive communication and in preparing repeatable
reporting that indirectly supports IT governance and Board-level oversight. The Director works in close
collaboration with VP of Information Systems to ensure alignment across application and infrastructure
strategies
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, required.
- 3+ years of combined experience in enterprise application management and people leadership.
- Hands-on SQL skills with experience managing relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, or similar).
- Experience with application administration, upgrades, patching, and structured testing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates and reporting to IT leadership.
- Awareness of IT governance, compliance, and security practices in regulated environments.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Exposure to project management practices.
- Familiarity with vendor or contract management.
- Participation in disaster recovery or business continuity planning
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide hands-on leadership for enterprise applications and databases, ensuring reliability, availability,

- Support daily administration of applications and contribute directly to database management using SQL.
- Directly manage and mentor junior staff, developing their technical and professional capabilities.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of enterprise applications, their functions, and interdependencies.
- Oversee structured release, patch, and testing processes that meet audit and regulatory requirements.
- Keep the CIO informed through clear updates and preparation of consistent reporting packages.
- Collaborate across the organization to align applications and reporting with business needs.
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to support budgets, service levels, and contracts.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of application upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
- Support development of reporting and analytics capabilities using SQL and related tools.
- Participate in project management activities using established methods and frameworks.
- Assist with IT governance, compliance, and audit requirements through documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging enterprise applications, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Support CIO and senior leadership with long-term IT planning, budgeting, and resource forecasting.

Before assuming any duties, each employee will be trained in the proper filing and logging procedures for large
currency transactions and the sale of monetary instruments.
Each employee will immediately report suspicious currency transactions or activity to their immediate
supervisor or the BSA Officer.
All employees will become familiar with how their customers handle their accounts and will report any
transactions that are not within the normal activities of the customer.
The employee will be trained in compliance with the BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT and associated laws and
regulations under the Bank’s Compliance Program as it pertains to his or her job functions. Employees are
expected to meet all compliance requirements as stated within the Bank’s BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC
Program. Failure to meet these compliance standards may adversely affect performance appraisals and may
result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Employee’s compliance violations may result in
termination, individual fines, and possible imprisonment.
