Required Documents
In order to substitute for the Manhattan Beach Unified School District the applicant must hold one of each of the following (or have the needed requirements to apply for):
• Must hold a BA/BS or higher from a regionally accredited college or university (verified by official transcript).
• Completion of the basic skills requirement (see CTC leaflet CL-667 www.ctc.ca.gov). Completion of the appropriate CTC application form 41-4. Completion of the LiveScan fingerprinting process for CTC.
CERTIFICATED SUBSTITUTE RATES:
• Daily Rate - $185.50 per day OR $92.75 per half day
• Long Term Substitute Rate - $212.00 per day beginning on the 21st day of the same assignment
