The Marketing Manager of the Daimler Coaches North America group is responsible for developing, communicating and implementing the marketing strategy of the division.

Position offers a starting salary range of $117,000.00 - $150,000.00USD  

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience​

What You Drive at DTNA  

  • Internal Communication: development of a roadmap for internal communication, implementation of the communication incl. all internal events Responsibility for the signage of all DCNA locations according to the Daimler Truck / Daimler Bus CI/CD. Development of a digital representation for DCNA brands and products.
  • Marketing Strategy: development of DCNA’s overall marketing strategy in collaboration with the VP Sales and Marketing, planning of all marketing activities together with the head of the divisions (sales new coaches, sales used coaches and Aftermarket). Selection and steering of external marketing agencies. Planning and continuous tracking of the marketing budget. Safeguarding all compliance rules and standards (e.g. for sponsoring).
  • Exhibitions: organization of all DCNA participations at trade-shows, trade-organizations, association meetings, etc. Close cooperation with the central marketing department in Germany, planning of content and budget, selection and management of suppliers and booth builders, continuous tracking of budget. Safeguarding of all compliance and purchasing guidelines.
  • Product Marketing: development of marketing material for the presentation of the DCNA products for both, vehicles and Aftermarket services (e.g. product brochures, advertisements, website, etc.). Development of digital sales channels.
  • Press and Public Relations: drafting of press releases for DCNA in alignment with the VP Sales and Marketing and the COM department, representation of the company in interviews, press drives, press travels, etc. 

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 5 years of relevant Marketing experience, is required.
  • Prior Bus / motor coach industry experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office, typical computer systems / skills.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, honesty and accountability.
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
  • An attached resumed is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have  

  • Understanding and ability to understand and to explain complex technical product in details
  • Outstanding customer service experience
  • CDL with P endorsement is preferred
